Pencil

Pencil is a 7-year-old gelding from Ireland, trained by Nicky Martin, who operates out of Minehead. He is the offspring of the stallion Retirement Plan and the mare Maggie From Dunlo. Pencil has yet to secure his first win, having finished without victory in 14 races. In his latest race at Southwell on June 11, 2024, Pencil was ridden by James Best and did not place, finishing behind the winner.
