Palio is a 6-year-old dark bay or brown gelding from the United States, trained by Abraham Katryan, who is based there. He is the offspring of the stallion Twirling Candy and the mare Cat’s Garden. Throughout his career, Palio has achieved victory in 4 races. His most notable win occurred on August 4, 2024, at Woodbine, where he was ridden by Pietro Moran and triumphed in the $32,476 Allowance Optional Claiming race, beating Ninetyfour Expos.
