Paintsville is a 7-year-old dark bay or brown gelding from the United States, trained by Paul Melancon. He is the offspring of the stallion Medaglia D’oro and the mare Reaching. Paintsville has not yet achieved a maiden victory, having lost all 11 of his races so far. In his latest outing at Mountaineer on November 21, 2023, he was ridden by Matias Bravo and ended up unplaced, finishing behind the winner, Baytown Beaver.
