Origin

Origin is a 7-year-old bay gelding from New Zealand, trained by Barry Beatson. He is sired by the stallion Sweet Orange and is out of the mare Brigantine. Origin has not yet achieved maiden status, having failed to win any of his 7 races. In his latest outing at Otaki on December 16, 2022, he was ridden by Masahiro Hashizume and finished in 12th place, behind the winner Weneedashock.
