Oriental Odyssey is a 5-year-old filly from South Africa, trained by Alec Laird, who operates in the same country. She is the offspring of the stallion William Longsword and the mare Oriental Oak. Oriental Odyssey has not yet achieved a maiden victory, having lost all five of her races so far. In her latest outing at Turffontein on June 15, 2023, she was ridden by J V’d Merwe and did not place, finishing behind the winner, My Soul Mate.
