Optical Bijou is a 3-year-old dark bay or brown gelding from the United States, trained by Benjamin Perkins. He is the offspring of the stallion Shaman Ghost and the mare Amanda’s Antik. So far in his career, Optical Bijou has achieved one victory. On August 27, 2023, at Monmouth Park, he was ridden by Samuel Marin and secured his most notable win to date, claiming the prize in the $45,641 Maiden Special Weight race, where he triumphed over Charlie’s Express.
