Opalescent is a 4-year-old filly from South Africa, trained by Paul Matchett. She is sired by Global View and her dam is Jewel Of Gibraltar. Opalescent has not yet won a race, having competed in two races to date. In her latest outing at Vaal on April 20, 2023, she was ridden by Philasande Mxoli and finished unplaced, trailing the winner Divine Moonlight.
