Novella

Novella is a 5-year-old brown mare from New Zealand, trained by Jess Land in Rangiora. She is the offspring of the stallion Belardo and the mare Short Tale. Novella has not yet achieved maiden status, having failed to win any of her 13 races. In her latest race at Riccarton Park Synthetic on August 9, 2023, she was ridden by Tanya Jonker and placed 11th, trailing the winner French Rose.
