New Year Surprise is a six-year-old dark bay or brown stallion from the United States, trained by Manny Perez. The horse is a progeny of the stallion Street Sense and the mare Elegantly Wild. Despite having competed in nine races, New Year Surprise has not yet secured a victory. In its latest race at Hawthorne on September 6, 2024, ridden by Rishawn Blanche, the stallion did not place and finished behind the winner.
