Neotropic is a 6-year-old gray/roan gelding from the United States, trained by Jack Fisher. He is the offspring of the stallion Tapit and the mare Ecology. Neotropic has not yet achieved a maiden victory, having raced six times without a win. In his latest race at Great Meadow on May 6, 2023, he was ridden by Graham Watters and came in third place, following the winner Merry Maker.
