Nelsons Star is a 6-year-old gelding from Ireland, trained by R Curtis in Newport. He is the offspring of the stallion Mount Nelson and the mare Real Revival. Nelsons Star has yet to secure a victory, having raced once without winning. In his latest race at Ludlow on December 6, 2023, he was ridden by James Bowen and finished without placing, trailing behind the winner, Ted’s Gift.
