Mr. Makunouchi is a 4-year-old dark bay/brown gelding from the United States, trained by Marcia Stortz. He is the offspring of the stallion Giacomo and the mare Big Adventure. Mr. Makunouchi has not yet won a race, having made 11 attempts without success. In his latest outing at Ferndale on September 9, 2024, he was ridden by Micah Meeks and placed 4th, trailing the winner.
