Motivation, an eight-year-old grey gelding, hails from New Zealand and is trained by the Hastings-based team of P & C Nelson & Mcdougal. Sired by Mastercraftsman and out of the dam Tenacity, Motivation has secured three victories in its racing career. Its most notable win came on June 6, 2022, at Hastings. Ridden by Aaron Kuru, Motivation triumphed in the $20,000 Maiden Hurdle Set Weight With Allowances, besting Mrs Twinkletoes.
