Mersea Island

Mersea Island is a two-year-old colt from Ireland, trained by C. Johnston, who operates out of Middleham. He is the offspring of the stallion Sea The Stars and the mare Meri Shika. Mersea Island has not yet achieved a maiden victory, having lost all three of his races to date. In his latest outing at Newmarket on October 23, 2024, he was ridden by Billy Loughnane and finished in 7th place, trailing the winner, Tremorgio.
