Merino Wool is an 8-year-old mare from the United States, trained by Jorge Rosales. She is the offspring of the stallion Giant Gizmo and the mare Woolly Bear. Throughout her career, Merino Wool has achieved victory in three races. Her most notable win occurred on April 11, 2024, at Turf Paradise, where she was ridden by Luis Contreras and triumphed in an $8,400 claiming race, beating Born To Reign.
