Mauritius, a five-year-old dark bay or brown gelding, hails from the United States and is trained by Thomas Morley, who operates out of the USA. This horse is the offspring of stallion Twirling Candy and dam Special Still.

Mauritius has achieved two victories in its racing career. Its most notable win occurred on June 15, 2024, at Belmont At The Big A. Ridden by John Velazquez, Mauritius triumphed in the $9,000 Claiming race, besting St. Joe Louis.
