Mauna Loa

Mauna Loa is a 4-year-old filly from South Africa, trained by Sharon Kotzen. She is the offspring of the stallion Erupt and the mare Katy’s Lane. Mauna Loa has not yet achieved her first win, having competed in four races without success. In her latest race at Fairview on January 9, 2024, she was ridden by Luyolo Mxothwa and finished out of the top placements, trailing the winner, Sky Velocity.
