Matauri Bay

Matauri Bay is a two-year-old bay colt from Ireland, trained by R M Beckett, who operates out of Kimpton Down. He is the offspring of the stallion Lope De Vega and the mare Matauri Pearl. So far in his career, Matauri Bay has achieved one victory. On August 11, 2024, at Leicester, he was ridden by Hector Crouch and secured his most notable win to date, earning $5,589 in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Novice Stakes, where he triumphed over Shah.
