Masakado

Masakado is a 3-year-old dark bay or brown gelding from the United States, trained by Cathal Lynch. He is the offspring of the stallion First Samurai and the mare Trust In Hope. Throughout his career, Masakado has achieved one victory. On August 3, 2023, at Laurel Park, he was ridden by William Humphrey and secured his most notable win to date, clinching the $31,200 Maiden Special Weight race, beating Under The Overpass.
