Maroto is a 7-year-old gelding from Ireland trained by W P Mullins, who is located in Carlow. He is the offspring of the stallion Sholokhov and the mare Danse De Guerre. Maroto has not yet achieved a maiden victory, as he has not won any of his 5 races to date. In his latest outing at Roscommon on August 7, 2024, Maroto, ridden by P Townend, finished in 3rd place, trailing the winner.
