This horse, sired by Hard Spun and out of the dam D’ Elegance, has achieved one victory in its racing career. Malpais’s most notable win came on October 27, 2023, at Horseshoe Indianapolis. Ridden by Samuel Bermudez, Malpais won the $14,000 Claiming Race 1, besting K J’s Legacy.
