Maldini is a 5-year-old gelding from South Africa, trained by Johan J Vuuren. He is the offspring of the stallion Pomodoro and the mare Margot On Stage. Maldini has not yet secured a victory, having lost in his only race attempt. In his latest outing at Turffontein on February 23, 2023, Maldini, ridden by C Maujean, finished without placing, trailing the winner, Camerata.
