Magpie

Magpie is a 5-year-old chestnut gelding from New Zealand, trained by Mark Anderson, who operates out of Kilmore. He is the offspring of the stallion Ekraar and the mare Crafty Crim. Magpie has not yet achieved a maiden victory, having raced twice without winning. In his latest outing at Hastings on January 25, 2024, he was ridden by Triston Moodley and came in 4th place, trailing the winner, Miss Martini.
