Lyte Crude is a four-year-old gelding, gray or roan in color, originally from the United States. He is trained by Tommy Short and is the offspring of stallion Mizzen Mast and dam Two Sips. Despite 13 race attempts, Lyte Crude has yet to secure a win. In his most recent outing at Turfway Park on January 27, 2024, ridden by Axel Concepcion, he finished without placing, trailing behind the winning horse, Philipsburg.
