Lucina is a 5-year-old gray/roan filly from the United States, trained by John Salzman. She is the offspring of the stallion Mohaymen and the mare Rosareen. Lucina has not yet achieved maiden status, as she has not won any races in her 4 attempts. In her latest race at Laurel Park on July 22, 2023, Lucina, ridden by Jean Alvelo, finished in 3rd place, trailing the winner Jane Street.
