Kupuna

Kupuna, a five-year-old dark bay or brown gelding, was bred in the United States and is trained by W Calhoun. Sired by Hard Spun and out of the dam Hanalei Hailey, Kupuna has achieved three victories in its racing career. Its most notable win came on April 7th, 2024, at Evangeline Downs. Ridden by Mitchell Murrill, Kupuna won the $60,000 Evangeline Mile Stakes, besting Five Star General.
