Kokako is a 4-year-old bay mare from New Zealand, trained by L & L Kennewell & Yeomans, who are based in Cranbourne. She is the offspring of the stallion Swiss Ace and the mare Cortado. On September 13, 2024, at Geelong, she was ridden by Blake Shinn and secured her most notable victory to date, winning the $27,000 3yo+ F&M Maiden Set Weight race, where she beat Grinzinger Sun.
