Kinzhal is a 4-year-old dark bay or brown gelding from the United States, trained by Saul McHugh. He is the offspring of the stallion Birdstone and the mare Russia. Kinzhal has not yet secured his first victory, having lost all 6 of his races so far. In his latest outing at Woodbine on September 23, 2023, Kinzhal, ridden by Rachel Slevinsky, finished in 4th place, trailing behind the winner, Chairman Layla.
