Kern River is a 4-year-old gelding from the United States, trained by Benjamin Trask. He is the offspring of the stallion Midshipman and the mare Zamquick. So far in his career, Kern River has achieved one victory. On June 3, 2024, at Monmouth Park, he was ridden by Ramon Vazquez and secured his most notable win to date, earning $10,500 in a Maiden Claiming race, where he triumphed over Perrotto.
