Keeneland

Keeneland is a 17-year-old gelding from Ireland, trained by D McCain Jnr at Cholmondeley. He is the offspring of the stallion Westerner and the mare Delphinium. Throughout his career, Keeneland has won a total of 5 races. His most notable victory came on April 22, 2014, at Kelso, where he was ridden by A P Lane and triumphed in the $3,249 Isle Of Skye Blended Scotch Whisky Handicap Hurdle, beating Allow Me. Keeneland has proven to be a lucrative horse for bettors, providing a 272 percent return on investment if backed throughout his career. He has since retired from racing.
