Kapal Layar is a 5-year-old gelding from Ireland, trained by O Murphy, who operates out of Wilmcote. He is the offspring of the stallion Milan and the mare Shees A Dante. Kapal Layar has not yet achieved a maiden victory, with one race under his belt. In his latest outing at Carlisle on October 17, 2024, he was ridden by S Bowen and secured a 3rd place finish, trailing behind the winner, Blue Carpet.
