Japanese Maple

Japanese Maple is a 4-year-old gelding from South Africa, trained by Weichong Marwing. He is the offspring of the stallion Mambo In Seattle and the mare Three Trees. So far in his career, Japanese Maple has won one race. On July 11, 2024, at Turffontein, he was ridden by Phenisile Mongqawa and achieved his biggest victory to date by winning the $46,875 4racing Welcomes You Work Riders Maiden Plate, beating Royal Albert.
