Itwasfate is a 7-year-old gelding from the United Kingdom, trained by H De Bromhead in Waterford. He is the offspring of the stallion Passing Glance and the mare Grandma Griffiths. So far in his career, Itwasfate has won one race. On July 15, 2022, at Kilbeggan, he was ridden by C Brassil and achieved his most notable victory, claiming the $5,697 Tom McCormack Memorial Cup Maiden Hurdle by defeating Shona Mea.
