Istanbul is a 6-year-old bay gelding from France, trained by J Merienne. He is sired by the stallion Gris De Gris and is out of the mare Boisserie. Istanbul has not yet won a race, having raced three times without success. In his latest race at Dieppe on June 8, 2023, Istanbul, ridden by D Salmon, finished out of the top positions, trailing the winner Little Thunder.
