Idaten is a 4-year-old bay gelding from France, trained by H Shimizu. He is the offspring of the stallion Ribchester and the mare Salve Sicilia. Idaten has not yet secured his first victory, having raced 9 times without a win. In his latest race at Chantilly on October 15, 2024, he was ridden by M Eon and placed 7th, trailing the winner.
