Ichiban Zakura is a three-year-old bay filly from Japan, trained by Fujita Koji. She is the offspring of the stallion Novellist and the mare Itto Ichiban. Ichiban Zakura has not yet secured her first victory, having competed in seven races without a win. In her latest race at Kanazawa on October 29, 2024, she was ridden by Masaya Matsudo and finished in 9th place, trailing the winner Calm Gaze.
