Hot On The Trail is a 8-year-old dark bay or brown mare from the United States, trained by Adan Farias. She is the offspring of the stallion Unusual Heat and the mare Winning Tale. So far, Hot On The Trail has not achieved her maiden victory, having raced six times without winning. In her latest race at Los Alamitos Racecourse on December 18, 2022, she was ridden by Ramon Vazquez and finished in fourth place, trailing the winner, Coalinga Hills.
