Holster is a 3-year-old dark bay or brown colt from the United States, trained by Steven Asmussen. He is the offspring of the stallion Gun Runner and the mare Classy Dancer. Holster has not yet achieved maiden status, having failed to win in 2 races. In his latest race at Churchill Downs on September 21, 2024, he was ridden by Erik Asmussen and finished in 6th place, behind the winner.
