Hired Gun is a 2-year-old colt from the United States, trained by B. Cox. He is the offspring of the stallion Maximum Security and the mare Lady Hester. Hired Gun has not yet achieved maiden status, as he has not won any races from his one attempt. In his latest race at Horseshoe Indianapolis on September 7, 2024, he was ridden by Fernando Cruz La De and finished in third place, behind the winner.
