Heat Merchant is a 5-year-old gray/roan gelding from the United States, trained by Danny Yu. He is the offspring of the stallion Kobe’s Back and the mare Red Velvet. Throughout his career, Heat Merchant has achieved one victory. On September 30, 2024, at Fort Erie, he was ridden by Leo Salles and secured his biggest win to date in a $6,513 claiming race, defeating Rye’s My Guy.
