Hautapu is a 9-year-old bay gelding from New Zealand, trained by Dan O’Leary in Cork. He is the offspring of the stallion Redwood and the mare River Chant. Hautapu has not yet secured his first victory, with no wins in 9 races. In his latest outing at Wanganui on February 23, 2023, Hautapu, ridden by Kelsey Hannan, placed 5th, trailing behind the winner, Krone.
