Hallep is a 5-year-old filly from Ireland, trained by T Doyle in Tipperary. She is the offspring of the stallion Mehmas and the mare Giorgi. Hallep has not yet achieved maiden victory, having raced five times without a win. In her latest race at Dundalk on November 9, 2022, she was ridden by M P Sheehy and did not finish in the top positions, trailing behind the winner, Cousin Shay.
