Gavagai

Gavagai is a three-year-old filly from Japan, trained by Mitsumasa Nakauchida. She is the offspring of the stallion New Year’s Day and the mare Bunny Tail. Gavagai has not yet achieved maiden status, as she has not won any races in her two attempts. In her latest race at Sapporo on August 10, 2024, she was ridden by Riki Takasugi and finished in seventh place, trailing behind the winner.
