First Mate is a 3-year-old female horse from Japan, trained by Kazuhiro Kato, who operates in Japan. She is the offspring of the stallion Gold Ship and the mare Dream Empress. Throughout her career, First Mate has secured one victory. On September 30, 2024, at Kanazawa, she was ridden by Tatsuya Nakajima and achieved her biggest win to date, earning a prize of $400,000 by beating T Up Fight.
