First Five

First Five is a 4-year-old brown mare from New Zealand, trained by David Greene at Te Rapa. She is the offspring of the stallion Almanzor and the mare Payette. So far in her career, First Five has won two races. On September 7, 2024, at Ruakaka, she was ridden by Lynsey Satherley and achieved her biggest victory to date, winning the $40,000 Benchmark 75 Handicap by defeating Trigon Lad. She has been a profitable horse for bettors, yielding a 50 percent return on investment if they had backed her throughout her career.
