El Joy is a 6-year-old dark bay or brown gelding from the United States, trained by Isidro Tamayo. He is the offspring of the stallion Kitten’s Joy and the mare Blue Grass Music. Throughout his career, El Joy has won 5 races. On April 16, 2024, at Turf Paradise, he was ridden by Assael Espinoza and achieved his biggest victory to date, winning the $14,640 Starter Optional Claiming race by defeating Irish Heatwave.
