East River is a five-year-old bay mare from Japan, trained by Motohiro Akamine. She is the offspring of the stallion Kinshasa No Kiseki and the mare After Dark. East River has not yet won a race, having competed seven times without a victory. In her latest race at Ohi on March 21, 2024, she was ridden by Kizawa Sho and finished in second place, following the winner Kuu Lei Nani.
