Drinking Champane is a four-year-old gray gelding from the United States, trained by Patrick Sanchez. The horse is a progeny of the stallion Big Daddy Cartel and the mare Champagne Perry. Drinking Champane has not yet secured its first win, having competed in seven races without a victory. In its latest race at Sunland Park on March 11, 2024, with Emilio Tapia as the jockey, Drinking Champane finished in fourth place, trailing behind the winner, Big Posies Cartel.
