Dorsoduro, a five-year-old dark bay or brown gelding, was bred in the United States and is trained by Ronald Rideout. Sired by Soldat and out of Venice Moon, Dorsoduro has achieved two victories in his racing career. His most notable win came on April 30, 2023, at Tampa Bay Downs. Ridden by Jeremy Alicea, he won the $14,000 Claiming Race 6, besting Village Preacher.
