Distant Steppes

Distant Steppes is a 5-year-old dark bay or brown gelding from the United States, trained by S. Knapp. He is sired by the stallion Vronsky and is out of the mare Lucky Spell. Distant Steppes has not yet achieved maiden status, having not secured a victory in three races. In his latest outing at Del Mar on September 2, 2023, he was ridden by Tiago Pereira and finished out of the placings, trailing behind the winner, Park City.
